The Carlos Cabezas Campus It is being a real success in Marbella. A total of 120 young people participate this week in the Carlos Cabezas sports center, located in the Bello Horizonte area, where they enjoy a unique experience with great figures of national and Malaga basketball as Alberto Díaz, Berni Rodríguez, Rubén Guerrero or Pepe Sánchez.
This Tuesday, the Campus has received a very special visit: Sergio Scariolo, current national coachhas come to share the day with young participants. With closeness and sense of humor, Scariolo answered the children's questions, which became improvised journalists for a day.
One of the most daring was Claudia, who did not hesitate to ask if she was going to Real Madrid. “Have you signed or are you going to sign?”the coach asked with laughter. Claudia insisted and Scariolo responded sincerely: “In that I have to change the answer … I don't know, I'm not sure yet”.
During his speech, he also talked about his experience in the NBA, his stage in the Unicaja that reached the Final Four of the Euroleagueand the best players you have trained, both in attack and defense. The coach was smiling, close and proud to accompany Carlos Cabezas on his campus, which every year gains more relevance.
After sharing time and experiences with the boys, Scariolo ended his visit leaving an indelible mark. An unforgettable day for more than a hundred young people, who have been able to live with an authentic legend of Spanish and European basketball.
