From the Czech Republic to Paris
Tabellini spent the last two seasons with the Nymburk in the Czech Republic, where he led the team to a record of 116-22 in all competitions, guiding two triples national crowns: Czech League, Czech Cup and Czech Cup-Eslovaca.
The Italian dedicated himself to training a little more than a decade ago with the lower categories of Treviso Basket and as an assistant coach in the Italian Second Division. Tabellini spent eight seasons there, before assuming his first position as main coach in 2022 with the USK Prague in the Czech Republic, and then assume the Nymburk bench in 2023.
“I started seeing foreign leagues, especially German BBL. I loved how Tuomas Iisalo in Corsheim and Johan Roijakkers in Göttingen made their teams play.
