Unicaja, La Laguna Tenerife, Dreamland Gran Canaria and Joventut will play the tenth edition of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) organized by FIBA, while UCAM Murcia will look for a place in the previous phase of the competition.
The organization announced on Tuesday the 29 teams that will play the BCL next season, including four Spaniards, in addition to the 24 applicants who will seek their presence in the competition through the three remaining places that are at stake, among which is UCAM Murcia.
These three places will be decided through three eliminatory tournaments from September 23 to 28. The winner of each will obtain a fixed place with the other 29 teams.

The group raffle of the first phase and the classification tournaments will be held in the Swiss city of Lausana on July 2 and the competition will begin on October 7.
Unicaja, current champion, will seek to raise the title again and become the first team with three championships and, in addition, consecutively in this competition, marked by the clear domain of Spanish basketball.
They complete the palmraés with two titles Lalaguna Tenerife (2017 and 2022) and San Pablo Burgos (2020, 2021), and with an AEK of Athens (2018), Virtus of Bologna (2019) and Baskets Bonn (2023).
