Sergio Rodríguez Viñas was born in Sabiñánigo (Huesca) in 1989 and graduated from Journalism from the University of Navarra in 2011. From 2009 until 2021, he worked in the world as a sports correspondent in the Basque Country and Navarra. In September 2021, he joined the founding team of El Periódico de España as editor and subsequently Chief of Sports, covering the World Cup in Qatar 2022 and the Olympic Games of Paris 2024. Since April 2025 he is part of El Periódico, as a specialized editor in the Madrid football clubs (Real Madrid and Atlético) and institutions such as LaLiga, the RFEF, the CSD and the CSD.
