The Ministry of Sports signed a contract with the Colombian Cycling Federation for 1,070 million pesos. The second semester sports calendar includes, in addition to the BMX in BUGA, the South American fencing in Medellín, the Pan American Mountain and Trail in Santa Marta, and seven tennis tournaments in cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena.
With this strategy, the Ministry of Sports reaffirms its commitment to the integral development of sport in Colombia: more female participation, impulse to new disciplines and an intelligent use of sport as an economic and social lever.
