The Spanish former international and legend of the Basketball Club perfumery Avenue of Salamanca, Silvia Domínguez, announced on Tuesday her withdrawal from basketball. The base will give name to the Pavilion of the Salamanca team, as reported during its farewell act.
In a massive act in the House of Avenue, the Würzburg Pavilion in Salamanca, with almost one of her full stands for such a call, the Catalan player communicated the decision about her professional future at age 38, ending a 21 -year -old career.
During that time he achieved, among others, three Euroleague titles with as many clubs, in addition to three gold medals at the Eurobasket, a silver in the 2014 World Cup and another silver medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with the Spanish team.

Domínguez has become a myth for the perfume club and also for the city of Salamanca, being one of the protagonists of achieving the only Euroleague of the Salamanca team, in 2011, with two different stages in this entity, first between 2006 and 2011, and later between 2015 and 2025.
Many of those campaigns as the captain and leader of the projects of the Salamanca team, a facet that also led to the Spanish team.
In his farewell speech, Domínguez thanked all the teams for which he has passed (Barcelona, Students, Ros Casares and Ekaterimburg) in addition to the perfumeries avenue, which he defined as the team of his life and “the best team in history”; without forgetting in him the support of his family and close beings and the local 'blue tide'.

In addition, he added nine medals with the Spanish team: three golds in the Eurobasket of 2013, 2017 and 2019; Three silver in the 2014 World Cup, at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and in the Eurobasket of 2023; and three bronzes in the Eurobasket of 2009 and 2015 and in the 2018 World Cup.
694 matches later with the perfumeries avenue, Domínguez ends as the greatest legend of the Salamanca entity and expressing his hope of having left a legacy in people and basketball, saying goodbye to him with a meaning “thanks.”
