Raquel Carrera renews with Valencia Basket until 2027


The Spanish international player of Valencia Basket Raquel Carrera has expanded her contract, which ended this June 30, with the entity 'Taronja' until 2027 as reported by the club.

Carrera arrived at Valencia Basket in June 2019, with just 17 years, as one of the promises of Spanish basketball from Celta Zorka and came out as ceded to the RPK Araski.

Already in her first season at Valencia Basket, the Galician player became a key piece for the achievement of the first European title of the entity in her female section, scoring a free kick in recent seconds of the final of the Eurocup against Umana Reyer Venezia (81-82).

In 2021, Carrera extended his contract with the Valencian team for five seasons, a contract that ended this June.

The interior, currently injured in the ankle, recovered from a serious knee injury produced in the Queen of Huelva's Cup and returned this last March leaving a historical statistic with 47 valuation in the semifinals of the 'Play-Off' of the Endesa Women's League before the perfumeries avenue.

Carrera has in his record with all the titles won by Valencia Basket in his women's section: three leagues, three supercopas, a queen's glass, a European Super Cup and a Eurocup.
