Unicaja offers BCL to its most veteran partners


Unicaja does not tire of celebrating this season. With the conquest of the tenth title in the history of the club, the second BCL and the fourth atrocious of this course, the Unicaja has wanted to pay a very special tribute to its greatest heritage: the fans. The classic rise from the champions banner in Carpena this time had a very special flavor. The protagonists were in the stands. That tireless engine that pushes the equipment from all corners, either from the carpena stands, from their homes, in the distance or accompanying the equipment in each displacement.

“This new trophy, like all the previous ones, is dedicated to them, but this time in an even more emotional way,” the club for the megafonía of the pavilion said. A very symbolic representation of that green tide was in charge of activating the mechanism that displayed the commemorative banner of the second BCL of the Unicaja. It was the oldest subscribers and greater seniority – all of them with more than 81 years and partners since the time of the Jardín City – who went down to the central track to star in a moment loaded with emotion.

The protagonists of this unforgettable gesture were: José Antonio Bravo, Fernando Camacho, Juan Jiménez, Francisco Jiménez, Lucía Pagés, Manuel Ramos, María Isabel Añón, José Antonio Alarcón, Encarnación Perraut, Jorge Ruesttes, Antonio Domínguez and Antonia Espíldora. After the act, they all enjoyed the encounter from the first row of the box, in recognition of their loyalty over the years.

Although a slight blackout of lights and sound threatened to tarnish the ceremony, the rapid intervention of the Mihitas – which interpreted the Hymn of Unicaja – along with the unwavering breath of the fans, returned the magic at the time. And so, already on the top of Martín Carpena the tenth trophy of the Guindos Club, the fourth in this historic 2024-2025 season.
