Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has asserted that he is most interested in winning the UEFA Champions League, not the Premier League title, in the 2025-26 season.
The Gunners, who have never won the Champions League trophy, are currently in race to notch four silverwares this campaign. They are leading the Premier League table by nine points and are set to play in the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League next month. They will feature in the EFL Cup final this Sunday, hoping to beat Manchester City.

During an interview with The Athletic, Jesus was asked which trophy he would love to lift the most before the end of this season. The four-time Premier League winner replied:
“Arsenal fans are probably going to say the Premier League because it’s been more than 20 years. But, they have also never won the Champions League, so obviously for them, it’s a dream to win both. Me, I want to win everything, but if I have to choose, it’s the Champions League.”
Jesus, who left Manchester City to join Mikel Arteta’s team in 2022, has yet to lift a single trophy at Arsenal. In the past three seasons, he helped the Gunners achieve three straight second-place finishes in the Premier League while guiding them to a Champions League semi-final once.
Meanwhile, the north London outfit have only ever reached the Champions League final once. Since their 2-1 loss to Barcelona in the final in 2006, they have reached the last four stage twice, in 2009 and 2025.
Arteta’s side will take on Primeira Liga club Sporting CP in the 2025-26 Champions League quarter-finals, with the two legs set to be held on April 7 and April 15. They would face either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals should they defeat Sporting on aggregate next month.

Ex-Manchester City defender Micah Richards has claimed that Arsenal would beat Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in the ongoing season. He said on The Rest Is Football podcast (h/t Metro):
“Arsenal would beat Barcelona. If Barcelona play that high line, then they would absolutely batter them. If they take it back five yards, Barcelona could absolutely batter them. (Gabriel) Martinelli, 100 per cent, would absolutely love to play against that without doubt. Even (Viktor) Gyokeres, he’s not the quickest but he’s a strong runner.”
The Emirates Stadium club are unbeaten in the Champions League this campaign, having won nine of their 10 games. Barcelona, on the other hand, have won six of their 10 outings, losing twice in the competition.
