The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals have been confirmed following the midweek action.<\/b><\/div>\n

The fixtures for the competition’s last eight are finalised with some huge ties awaiting next month.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will collide as the Champions League’s most regular rivalry returns. The Spanish side eliminated Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate in a statement performance, but will perhaps start as underdogs against a Bayern team in fine form.<\/div>\n
The German giants eased into the quarter-finals with a 10-2 aggregate thrashing of Atalanta in the last 16. It continues an incredible record that means Real Madrid and Bayern have never met in a Champions League final, despite it being the most played fixture in the competition’s history.<\/div>\n
Liverpool’s reward for an emphatic second-leg comeback against Galatasaray is a clash with holders Paris Saint-Germain. It’s a rematch of last season’s last-16 tie that saw PSG progress on penalties, on route to a maiden European crown.<\/div>\n
Elsewhere, Arsenal’s reward for progressing past Bayer Leverkusen is a tie with Sporting Lisbon.<\/div>\n

Sporting staged a stunning fightback to eliminate Bodo\/Glimt and reach the last eight. The Portuguese side became only the fifth team to recover from losing the first leg of a knockout tie by three or more goals, winning 5-0 in Lisbon after a 3-0 first-leg defeat.<\/p>\n

The final fixture will see Barcelona and Atletico Madrid do battle in an all-Spanish showdown. Barcelona secured a stunning 7-2 win over Newcastle in their second leg this week, while Atletico also eliminated English opponents in Tottenham.<\/div>\n
