The 2025\/26 Fantasy Premier League season is nearing its end. Just eight gameweeks remain \u2013 how is your FPL team looking at this crucial part of the campaign?<\/strong><\/p>\n Over the course of the weekend, we witness some big wins for Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal, while the likes of Sunderland, Chelsea and Everton all succumbed to defeat. That aside, who were this week\u2019s biggest winners and losers in FPL?<\/p>\n Despite there being so many clean sheets, this wasn\u2019t a particularly high-scoring gameweek for goalkeepers in FPL. <\/p>\n No players scored more than seven points \u2013 as such, we have a five-way tie for this week\u2019s star goalkeeper. David Raya, Bart Verbruggen, Walter Benitez, Bernd Leno and Aaron Ramsdale all bagged seven points in gameweek 30.<\/p>\n It was a rough period for Wolves \u2018keeper Jose Sa, though \u2013 two conceded goals and a yellow card left him with a weekly total of zero points, even as his team picked up a decent point on the road. <\/p>\n Former Arsenal man Konstantinos Mavropanos was the defender of the week \u2013 he helped out his ex-club by scoring an equaliser for West Ham United against Manchester City a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium. For his efforts, Mavropanos scored a total of 12 points. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, four defenders scored 11 points in gameweek 30 \u2013 they were William Saliba, Adrien Truffert, Lewis Dunk and Jaydee Canvot. <\/p>\n Despite experiencing such a promising debut campaign in the Premier League, Gabriel Gudmundsson struggled over the course of the weekend \u2013 he was handed a red card in Leeds United\u2019s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.<\/p>\n Ross Barkley is one of FPL\u2019s least-selected midfielders \u2013 given his lack of goal contributions prior to gameweek 30, it isn\u2019t hard to see why. Nevertheless, the former Everton man is this week\u2019s star midfielder after he scored a neat finish against Manchester United and went home with a total of 12 points. <\/p>\n It was a solid period for Dominik Szoboszlai and Anthony Gordon, also \u2013 they each scored 11 points for their performances against Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, respectively.<\/p>\n Sadly, the same cannot be said for Phil Foden, who did not make it into Manchester City\u2019s starting XI against West Ham and failed to make an impact upon his introduction. He hasn\u2019t scored a Premier League goal since December \u2013 with the World Cup rapidly approaching, Foden\u2019s poor form is concerning.<\/p>\n Richarlison was this week\u2019s highest scoring forward in FPL. The Brazilian international netted a dramatic equaliser against Liverpool at Anfield \u2013 in doing so, he probably spared Igor Tudor from the sack and kept Tottenham out of the relegation zone. All in all, Richarlison scored nine points in FPL this week.<\/p>\n It was a decent week for Viktor Gyokeres, also. He scored a late goal against Everton after he was introduced as a substitute \u2013 he now has 11 Premier League goals in the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n Dominic Calvert-Lewin has enjoyed a well-received return to form in the current campaign, but his missed spot-kick against Crystal Palace landed him with a total of zero points for the weekend. <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The 2025\/26 Fantasy Premier League season is nearing its end.
