Pundit and former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher has opened up and claimed David Raya could be one of the \u2018biggest reasons\u2019 Arsenal win the Premier League, and and Gianluigi Donnarumma has surprised him by blinking first.<\/p>\n
Raya has played a key role in ARSENAL<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s crucial win, making a number of saves while the score was still goalless before two late goals sealed the three points for Arteta\u2019s side.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Donnarumma has made a few mistakes in the last few weeks that have cost Man City vital points: \u2018At the start of the season, I didn\u2019t think there was any way City could win the league because of the goalkeeping situation,\u2019 Carragher said.<\/p>\n \u2018No one wins a Premier League without an absolutely great goalkeeper and there\u2019s no doubt about Donnarumma, a Champions League winner who won the Euros with Italy.<\/p>\n \u2018They\u2019ve got a goalkeeper who can win the league. before they signed him, there was no way they could win a league without signing someone of that calibre.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018Absolutely and I think most of us favoured Donnarumma didn\u2019t we because of his experience and the fact he\u2019s been there before. But there\u2019s no doubt that Donnarumma blinked first. He made an error, corners can be difficult for goalkeepers now but that wasn\u2019t really the case here.<\/p>\n \u2018He wasn\u2019t knocked out of the way or blocked, it was just really poor from the goalkeeper, he just gets it wrong and misjudges the flight of the ball.<\/p>\n \u2018That was the goal that brought it back to 1-1 and Man City couldn\u2019t go on to get that winning goal.\u2019<\/p>\n Carragher added: \u2018Listen, we think Arsenal are going to go on to win the Premier League.<\/p>\n \u2018If they do, he (Raya) has been one of the biggest reasons why. Not just this season, but the actual signing and changing Aaron Ramsdale for him.
