Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Jorginho has hit out at the attitude of pop star Chappelle Roan, who he claims reduced his daughter to tears during an incident in Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old former Italy international midfielder claims that Roan, who is best known for her hits \u2018Good Luck, Babe!\u2019, \u2018HOT TO GO!\u2019 and \u2018Pink Pony Club\u2019, overreacted to a situation at a hotel after being identified by his child over breakfast.<\/p>\n
In a lengthy Instagram post, Jorginho claimed that Roan \u201cdoes not deserve the affection\u201d of her fans due to the manner in which she reacted to his daughter.<\/p>\n

Jorginho posted his account of the situation on Instagram stories, claiming:<\/p>\n
\u201cI went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy wife (@catcavelli) is in S\u00e3o Paulo for @lollapaloozabr. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire. @chappellroan<\/p>\n
\u201cBy coincidence, they\u2019re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the worst part is she didn\u2019t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer\u2019s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn\u2019t say anything, didn\u2019t ask for anything.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat happened next was completely disproportionate.<\/p>\n
\u201cA large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn\u2019t allow my daughter to \u2018disrespect\u2019 or \u2018harass\u2019 other people.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this.<\/p>\n
\u201cI sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child. @chappellroan<\/p>\n
