Without further ado, we’ve assessed three clubs that could take a swing at luring Rogers away from Birmingham this summer.

Chelsea

Chelsea are one of three high-profile Premier League clubs monitoring Rogers’ situation at Villa, and reports haven’t ruled out a blockbuster bid from the Blues.

Trending

PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz ruled out until World Cup with an injury

The West Londoners have a long-standing interest in Rogers, and multiple reports claim that they’re already readying a mega bid for the England international.

Chelsea have plans to bolster their attacking options this summer, particularly with their push for a Champions League spot fading into despair.

Liam Rosenior’s side are sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind Villa in fourth, with eight games remaining in the season.

Rogers is versatile enough to play in several positions across the frontline, but will likely line up on the left flank if he moves to Chelsea.

The Blues are reportedly leading the race for Rogers, with co-director of recruitment and talent Joe Shields running point.

Villa haven’t named their price for Rogers, but the general feeling is that Chelsea will have to break the £100 million barrier for the third time in their history to get any deal over the line.

Arsenal

Arsenal have also been linked with a big-money move for Rogers, with the Gunners expected to revamp their frontline in the summer.

There are doubts over the futures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, who both have just over 12 months left on their current contracts.

Arsenal are yet to decide on the futures of both players, but Rogers will undeniably be an upgrade. But there are doubts over how he may fit into Mikel Arteta’s tactical set-up.

While Rogers is comfortable cutting in from the left flank, the former Middlesbrough forward also carries plenty of threat when deployed down the middle.

He could be an ideal replacement for Martin Odegaard and also slot into Eberechi Eze’s position when required. However, Arsenal are unlikely to break the bank to sign Rogers this summer.

Trending

Can Liverpool and Arsenal maintain their imperious form to stop Man City?

Liverpool

Liverpool sent shockwaves throughout the Premier League when they splashed out over £400m to revamp their title-winning squad.

Breaking their transfer record twice in the same window to bring in Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and Alexander Isak from Newcastle United also raised plenty of eyebrows.

Those deals make it difficult to rule out the Reds repeating the same patterns this summer, and Rogers is one of several players on their radar.

Liverpool failed to replace Luis Diaz, who joined Bayern Munich last summer, leaving Cody Gakpo and out-of-favour Federico Chiesa as the only senior left-wing options in the team.

That decision has come back to haunt the reigning champions, and Rogers is one solution they’re exploring to bolster their left-wing options.

Whether they’d be willing to splurge on another mega-money signing this summer remains to be seen, but Rogers would be a valuable addition to Arne Slot’s side.

[1

post-1549","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arsenal
["GET
