Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that James Trafford will start in goal for this weekend\u2019s Carabao Cup final.<\/strong><\/p>\n Manchester City take on Arsenal at Wembley on Sunday, with the first silverware of the season on the line. Guardiola is set to retain trust in Trafford for the cup final.<\/p>\n Trafford has spent much of the campaign as deputy to Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Premier League but has featured throughout the club\u2019s Carabao Cup campaign.<\/p>\n Guardiola will stick with the 23-year-old at Wembley, confirming the decision in his pre-match press conference, admitting it\u2019s a \u2018big moment for the team\u2019.<\/p>\n The Spaniard was also asked on Trafford\u2019s recent comments about his unhappiness with a lack of minutes.<\/p>\n Trafford rejoined the Citizens from Burnley in the summer, prior to Donnarumma\u2019s high-profile arrive from Paris Saint-Germain. He has played just 270 minutes of league football and has made only 12 starts in all competitions.<\/p>\n On Trafford\u2019s comments, Guardiola added: \u201cGood. Nothing to say. Players can be happy, or unhappy, it is what it is.
